BELOW IS THE INTRODUCTION OF LT. GEN.          EICHELBERGER BY MAYOR MIKE FELIX

IT IS WITH GREAT PLEASURE THAT I AM PRIVILEGED AS MAYOR OF THE CITY OF SACHSE TO INTRODUCE ONE OF OUR OWN CITIZENS.

GENERAL EICHELBERGER AND HIS FAMILY HAVE BEEN RESIDENTS OF SACHSE ONLY A SHORT TIME, BUT WE ARE SO HAPPY THAT THEY HAVE CHOSEN TO MAKE OUR CITY THEIR HOME AND TO BECOME INVOLVED IN ITS ACTIVITIES.

WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO INTRODUCE A GENTLEMAN WHO EXEMPLIFIES AMERICA'S  FINEST  MILITARY TRAINING AND PRIDE.  A GENTLEMAN WHO STARTED AS A PRIVATE AND RETIRED AS A THREE STAR GENERAL.

LIEUTENANT  GENERAL EICHELBERGER'S CAREER SPANNED OVER THREE DECADES OF DISTINGUISHED SERVICE IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY.  AT THE TIME OF HIS RETIREMENT, HE WAS HEAD OF OUR UNITED STATES ARMY INTELLIGENCE.

AS A SPECIAL THANK YOU FROM OUR CITY, I WOULD LIKE TO READ A PROCLAMATION FROM THE SACHSE CITY COUNCIL TO LIEUTENANT GENERAL EICHELBERGER.
